Price

$175

Duration

6 classes over 12 weeks

About the Course

Movement is important, but how we move is more important.

This six session workshop will focus on your connection to your body and to your movement. We will use principles of Pilates, mindfulness, and meditation to improve your mind body connection, stabilization, motor control, and coordination.

Our goal is to teach you how to play with movement to make you feel better, stronger, and more confident.

Each class will include education, relevant anatomy, and movement in order to help you connect to your body and move with more understanding and purpose. We want you to leave each class with tools and courage to move with less restriction and more creativity.

Join us at the Lyle Activity Center starting Monday, February 17th, 4:30pm-6:00pm. We will meet every other week through April 28th.

We look forward to moving with you!

Dianne Kaylor & Heather Brooks-Steffan

Dianne and Heather are co-owners of Gorge to Summit Physical Therapy.
Dianne grew up in Arkansas and has been in The Gorge about six years. She loves to climb, paint, fish, mountain bike, and ski.
Heather is a native pacific northwester, growing up in eastern Washington. She loves to mountain and road bike, climb, cook, and ski.
They started Gorge to Summit PT because they saw a void for healthcare in the community. They realized there was more to making people better than what they were taught in school. So, they turned toward Pilates, meditation, and mindfulness for a new perspective. They draw on education and expertise from many different kinds of practitioners. This includes conscious movement experts, Feldenkrais trained educators, chiropractors, functional medicine doctors, somatic therapists, and other movement specialists. It has given them a deeper tool box to draw from when helping you move better and heal.
